This mobile materials platform is used to transport material to an overhead tempering oven.
Periodically maintenance access is required by use of lift equipment from the platform. System Inc. designed and built retractable gas spring operated retractable service access walks along the perimeter. The catwalks are easily retracted during equipment operation. Railing sections were designed to be removable for storage within the mechanical pit. The project included design and construction of a lifting assembly was included with integral trolly guides and electric chain pendants to facilitate removal of internal casing sections. The lifting frame is picked up by the internal oven crane and positioned within the oven and stored when not in use.
